We have been doing what we love for almost 90 years. Our customers have come to appreciate the fantastic selection of products. You’ll even find our beloved hand-written signs, a customer favorite for years, still proudly displayed. Our staff is knowledgeable and passionate about our product and will gladly help you find just what you need. We stock some of the harder-to-find spirits, rare scotches, vintage Ports and vintage wines. If you do not see it in the store we will try our best to get it for you.

This business is a wonderful part of a great neighborhood! They have a huge, eclectic selection of wines and liquors. Always friendly, always busy! The store is CROWDED with crates of wine so you have to skooch by other patrons, but that only adds to the charm of the place.

Usually on trips east, we have a little laugh at the inflated prices east coasters pay for the fair to middling California wines. Not so at The Wine Shop on New Scotland, where the array of Mondavi brands and their ilk, and some nicely dressed imports too, are priced around $5-15. (And some of that is even for the 1.5L size. Which is how they do here.)

A+ liquor selection too.
